The Center for the Study of Myth & Religion in Greek Roman Antiquity (affiliated with the Department of Philology, University of Patras) organizes an International Conference to honour its founder and pioneering scholar Professor Menelaos Christopoulos, on the occasion of his retirement in summer 2023.
This International Conference is an opportunity for colleagues, friends, and students of Professor Menelaos Christopoulos from all over the world to come together at Patras University in order to honour him and celebrate – through a plethora of papers – his dedication to research, as well as teaching, over the years.
Join us for a week of scholarly leisure focused on multiple aspects of Greek antiquity!
The Conference is primarily funded by the University of Patras and additionally supported by the Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece Harvard University.
